As a property management company we have to be sure to manage our time more wisely during the winter season. When it comes to showing our homes we want everyone to get there safely. During bad weather we advise people who are seeing/viewing our homes for rent to call us in advance if they are going to be late so they don’t have to worry about rushing.
Preventative maintenance is very important. Make sure that your home is at a set temperature during the day and at night so the pipes don’t freeze. This will prevent maintenance from coming out to work on your home. Also, make sure that there are no leaking faucets outside of your home so that you don’t get frozen pipes. We want all of our tenants to be safe this winter season!
Another way to stay safe during the winter is to stay away from scam ads. We are currently our available properties on multiple websites. Scam ads have been and increasing issue over the years. We encourage anyone looking for a home to make sure to verify with the property management company that the advertisement they saw was indeed the correct one. These types of ads have unfortunately affected many people. Always remember to never give out your personal information through the Internet and not to send money to someone requesting it out of the country.
