Make sure that your essentials box is clearly labeled and placed in a location that will make it easy to find. The next important step to stress-free unpacking happens during the move-in process. As you begin transporting furniture and boxes into your new household, make sure to take the time to place each item in the correct room. One appropriate tactic is to label, number or color-code your boxes to make them easy to identify. Give each room a name, number, or color, and mark the boxes that belong to that room. As a result, everyone helping with the move can help you place your boxes and furniture into the rooms where they should be, saving you a lot of time and frantic searching at a later time.
