There are many steps that we follow when showing your property to prospective tenants. At Real Property Management Wasatch we make sure that your property is protected by never allowing someone interested in renting to go into the property unattended.
A representative from our company will meet prospective tenants at the property to let them in. Having someone there also allows for any questions to be answered, either about the property itself or our application process, along with the security it affords you as an owner knowing that the property will be locked up securely after someone has been inside.
An appointment to show a property usually takes about 10-20 minutes depending on how large the property is. Whenever possible we will show the property to several interested people at the same time. Especially if the property is occupied as we do not want to bother the current tenant while they are still there several times a day.
We show available properties for rent as soon as we have a 30 day notice that the current tenants will be out. We make sure that anyone coming to see the property is aware of the availability date and always give the current occupants a 24 hour notice to let them know we are coming to show it.
As a potential renter, we ask that you call to make an appointment to see a property. Most of the time we can set up an appointment for the same day you call unless it is an occupied property, then we must give them a notice of 24 hours before we come. We have several people in our office available to show the properties so we can accommodate everyone’s schedules. We try to work with people in special circumstances when they are in from out of town or have work schedules that conflict. Making ourselves available to show the properties benefits all involved in getting potential tenants in to see the properties so that we can get them rented quickly.
